Job Title: Fund Raising Manager
Location: Byculla, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Job Summary:
As the Fundraising Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and
implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support all feeding initiatives.
This role involves cultivating relationships with donors and overseeing
communication strategies to engage potential supporters for the organization as a
whole.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Strategy:
- Develop and execute overarching fundraising strategies aligned with the
organization’s mission and goals. - Identify diverse funding sources and explore innovative approaches to secure
financial support for all feeding initiatives.
- Donor Cultivation:
- Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and
philanthropic organizations. - Create compelling proposals and presentations to secure financial support for
the organization’s various programs.
- Communication and Outreach:
- Cold calling, emailing or making an entry through a reference to pitch for
partnership for our programs or CAPEX requirement. - Develop and maintain effective communication channels with existing and
potential donors. - Craft persuasive and impactful messages to articulate the organization’s overall
mission and impact. - Giving back to corporate partner by way of engaging senior leadership and
employees, sharing impact stories, monthly reports etc.
- Grant Writing:
- Identify and apply for relevant grants to secure additional funding for the
organization. - Prepare grant proposals and reports, ensuring compliance with donor
requirements for all programs.
- Budget Management:
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate budgeting and financial
tracking of fundraising activities for the entire organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Business, Nonprofit Management,
etc.). - Proven experience in fundraising with a track record of successfully securing
funds for multiple programs. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Creativity and strategic thinking in fundraising approaches.
Additional Requirements:
- Residency in Mumbai and willingness to occasionally attend evening or weekend
events. - Passion for social impact and commitment to the organization’s holistic mission.
Experience:
5-15 years’ prior experience in a B2B sales or fundraising role that involves high
empathy/service levels to clients, supporters or the community.
